The Just Milk Group is committed to excellence in dairy management and invites passionate agricultural students to join their Dairy Student Learnership program.

This learnership offers a comprehensive, year-long rotational learning experience across all aspects of dairy farming. Participants will gain practical knowledge and hands-on experience in various fields, ensuring a well-rounded education in dairy management.
Educational Requirements
- Currently enrolled in the 2nd year of a Diploma in Agriculture, OR
- Completed Diploma in Agriculture, OR
- Relevant experience in the agricultural field
Experience
- Volunteering experience in agriculture
- Holiday work in a related field
- Any other beneficial experience in dairy or agriculture

Key Performance Areas
- Rotational Learning: Engage in all seasons and areas of dairy farming, including Animal Husbandry, Mating, Calving, Calf Rearing, and Pasture Management.
- Orientation: Meet the team and familiarize yourself with the farm operations.
- General Assistance: Support your mentor, maintain dairy tidiness, and uphold hygiene standards.
- Computers: Learn to use farm management software, basic data entry, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Remuneration and Terms
- Stipend: A monthly remuneration of R5,380.
- Accommodation: Housing is provided for the duration of the learnership.
