Centres for Crime Prevention Wardens (CPW) Programmes for the Years 2024 and 2025: Ninety Police Stations At this time, the Department of Community Safety, Security, and Liaison is seeking applications for the position of Crime Prevention Wardens. The capacity to communicate in two official languages, including English and other languages. to be subjected to a routine criminal record inquiry, sometimes known as a police clearance. As part of your duties and responsibilities, you will be patrolling high-crime risk zones.

 

Conduct search and seizure operations in schools with the assistance of personnel of the South African Police Service. Help in operations involving stops and searches. Be on the lookout for any instances of unlawful or suspicious behaviour within the neighbourhood.

Note: The South African Police Service (SAPS) will be in charge of supervising the work of the Community Police Workers (CPWs).
