Salary: R140.85 (EPWP Auxiliary Staff Per Day Wage)
(2 Year Fixed Contract)
Grade 10. Grade 12 (Advantageous).
Valid Driver’s Licence (Advantageous).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (must be bilingual). Preference will be given to 4,444 applicants residing in the Midvaal region.
Ability to follow and carry out instructions given.
Good physical health, basic skills and knowledge of physical labor.
Must meet the operational requirements of the position.
Hardworking and disciplined person.
At least 1 year experience as a worker in the Municipal Engineering Services department (Water, Cleaning, Sewerage, Electrical).
Job Duties
Responsible for loading and unloading materials and equipment in the section using protected hands and safety tools.
During excavation work, install traffic signs next to city roads to warn of worker passage.
Clean work area and surroundings using a variety of manual equipment/tools to ensure a clean environment.
Complete all work related tasks as requested by supervisor or department head.
Follow all legal instructions from supervisor to ensure productivity and smooth running of operations within the department.
Perform other related ad-hoc tasks and duties as may be requested or required from time to time by management (supervisor).
