Department of Agriculture and Rural Development: Learnership 2024. The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is providing an exciting chance for unemployed youth to engage in the 2024/2025 Learnership Programme. This effort is intended to provide essential skills and training in the agriculture sector, preparing participants for future job opportunities. With a total of 120 places available, this program provides a wonderful opportunity for young people to develop their skills in either animal or plant production. Applications close on August 28, 2024. Available Learnership Positions Animal Production Learners have 60 posts. Plant Production Learners: 60 positions. Stipend: Participants will be paid a monthly stipend based on the Department of Public Service and Administration’s Youth Development Programme Directive.
Qualifications
NQF Level 02/03: Basic enlistment/requirements:
- South Africans who are in possession of AET Level 4/Standard 7/Grade 9/10 or
- Have completed and deemed competent in NQF1/2 in Animal/Plant Production
NQF Level 04: Basic enlistment/requirements:
- South Africans who are in possession of Grade 12/Standard 10 and must have passed English. Mathematics and Natural Sciences.
- Have completed and deemed competent in NQF3 in Animal/ Plant Production
