Task:

Your main focus will be on growing OUTsurance’s business insurance. This include the following:

  1. Prospecting and Canvassing for New Business: You will actively look for new clients, building relationships and securing contracts to expand OUTsurance’s reach in the market.
  2. Managing Client Relationships: Building and maintaining solid relationships with clients is crucial in the insurance industry. You’ll be responsible for ensuring client satisfaction and offering solutions that meet their needs.
  3. Sales and Service Excellence: Your role as a broker involves assisting excellent service to clients by understanding their unique needs and offering tailored insurance solutions.

The OUTsurance Broker role operates under the Tied Agent Model, which has been a key factor in the company’s success. This model ensures that brokers are aligned with the company’s values and goals, creating a supportive environment for both personal and professional growth.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Matric or National Senior Certificate: A completed matric certificate is essential.
  • Reliable Vehicle: You must have your own reliable vehicle with uninterrupted access.
  • Driver’s License: A valid code B driver’s license is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of three years of external sales experience in a face-to-face selling environment is essential. Experience in lead generation, cold calling, and relationship management is highly valued.
  • FAIS Accreditation: If you have previous experience as a FAIS representative, the following are non-negotiable:
    • FAIS credits/Full Insurance Qualifications (depending on Dofa)
    • RE5 certification (depending on Dofa).
