PROGRAMME LIST AND CRITERIA:
Learnership 18.2: Fitting
Desired Qualification:
- Mechanical Fitting (Including Machining):
- N2 with Mathematics, Engineering Science, Engineering Drawing, and Fitting (Including Machining) Trade Theory.
- OR National Certificate Vocational (NCV) Level 4 in Electrical Infrastructure Construction or Engineering and Related Design (all trades) with at least 40% in all subjects.
- OR Grade 12 with Mathematics, Physical Science, Engineering Graphics and Design, and relevant trade theory, with at least 40% in all subjects.
Learnership 18.2: Plating
Desired Qualification:
- Plater/Welder:
- N2 with Mathematics, Engineering Science, Plating and Structural Steel Drawings, and Plater’s Trade Theory.
- OR NCV Level 4 in Engineering-related trades with at least 40% in all subjects.
- OR Grade 12 with Mathematics, Physical Science, Engineering Graphics and Design, and relevant trade theory, with at least 40% in all subjects.
Learnership 18.2: Learner Miner
Desired Qualification:
- Learner Miner:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics (not Mathematical Literacy) and English.
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
- Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as per a risk-based medical examination at Sibanye-Stillwater Occupational Health Care Centre.
- Be recommended based on interview outcomes.
- Clear security screening results.
- Applicants with Section 28 or 26D Trade Certificates will not be considered.
- The selection process includes an interview and psychometric assessment.
- Applicants must submit a fully completed CV, certified copies of ID, qualifications, and statements of results.
